Sculpting Velocity Watch

This watch is part of an ongoing exploration of design through both making and curation.

Rather than approaching watchmaking as pure manufacturing, the process begins with carefully selecting and combining materials, components, and proportions. Each element—from the dial surface to the hands and layout—is chosen and refined to create a quiet sense of balance.

The result is not simply assembled, but composed: an object shaped through a process of observation, experimentation, and thoughtful selection.

Developed in St. Louis as part of the Sculpting Velocity design journal, the watch reflects a broader interest in how ideas, materials, and movement come together to form meaningful objects.
